It seems very bad time. Very dynamic and hopeful youth are seen ending their valuable life in a very sorrowful manner. Everyday this type of news, somewhere, in someway, come to our view.
Is life such an ordinary thing? So far no one made them realise the value of life? Do they think they themselves are only concerned for their life,.. no one else? The parents who gave birth and brought them up with a lot of pain and strain but with much more affection....are nothing to do anything with the lives of their children? What do these young people think? If they die just for the love of a girl/boy, then what will be the fate of those lives attatched to them. Let us take pity of such unfortunate parents. In otherway this is also wrong. Let us take, for example , the father of Srinivas, the main accused in Acid case in warangal. On the encounter of his son, he said what had happend is good and proper for his son. and he was reluctant even to collect the dead body of his culprit son. Shall we take pity over such parents for having such a son or should appreciate them for such a practicle strong and realistic stand.
This is the result of lacking moral attitudes in our studies ; not stressing language studies that include literature teaching tradition and culture. Also lacking joint families, no association with grand father/grand mother who used to tell them stories that teach our culture and human values and human relations. Parents are always seen busy in making money and in planning the career of the boy/girl in a top most rate, but they never applied their mind to make they boy/girl a good citizen. All ;the present generation is made so, so there is no value for life, no value for humanity,
What they were taught is "to hit the target without fail, at any cost". That is what they are doing.
They should get what they want, in this issue they do not mind anything else, even the opinion of the otherside whom he/she loves. Either they should get, or none else. The space ship, not properly tuned may not be perfectly in our control. The same in the case of present youth. We are helpless. What a pitiable situation...we/our surround society, the films..are responsible for this situation and at the same time we are helpless.

Hi Mavayya,
ReplyDeleteNice blog.Really appreciate this effort of your's.
yes i do agree with you that youth in this generation are lacking in devotional knowledge and may be we need to blame parents also to some extent.
Anyways i think good days will come surely and few people who are living in Knowledge of Ignorance will change.
As part of this i will also take initiative and try to change few persons around me.
Thanks

Daddy,
ReplyDeleteVery good article and great though of opening blog. Congratulations.
Power of youth, if properly directed and controlled, could bring about transformational changes in humanity for its progress.
I think the parents and teachers play major role in shaping the youth.
But yes, I agree with you that unfortunately in this busy world, most of the parents are trying to increase the knowledge of their children only from the carrier perspective without making them to understand our culture, morals, devotion, duties towards the society etc. Parents themselves should practically apply all these things and have to stand as an role model for their children. The same applies to teachers also.
Looking from other angle, we see the youth today having lot of confidence, energy, high aspirations and idealism and also they are understanding now the importance of service to society, devotion and humanity.
So let us hope that everybody step into this path.
Thanks And Regards,
SnehaPrashant.
